SUPERVISOR - SYSTEM INTEGRATION & PERFORMANCE TESTING (JOB # 13821)
Portland, OR

Manage the System Integration and Performance testing department in the following role:
Manage the daily operations of the System Integration & Performance Testing department
Direct the development, implementation and sustainment activity of testing (regression, integration, availability, security and performance) in accordance with IT policies, procedures, and standards, to ensure that business results are accomplished as specified, which requires working closely with IT divisions, customers, colleagues, vendors and other stakeholders to identify and maximize opportunities to utilize Quality Assurance methods and testing to improve the delivery of reliable applications that meet business requirements without defect
Develop resource plans, ensure that project plans support business schedules and have clear requirements
Monitor work plan progress and direct change in priorities and schedule to ensure the work is completed in an efficient and timely manner
Direct the development and execution of test cases that thoroughly exercise system integration and performance capabilities
Success of this position requires innovation, flexibility, perseverance and the ability to make change happen
REQUIREMENTS
Combine your IT team experience with the following skills:
Minimum of 4 years in an IT team with 2 of those years being in a team leadership role
College Degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent) or relevant experience is required
Excellent knowledge of project management principles and the systems development lifecycle
Ability to organize, direct and establish strategy for the Regence-wide Integration & Performance Testing team
Knowledge of System Testing methodology and framework (especially focused on integration and performance testing) as well as the various levels/components of testing
Executes assignments and tasks to accomplish infrastructure and systems strategy in conjunction with all technology areas of Regence
Has participated in the evaluation, recommendation and integration of systems, components and services from third-party vendors, consultants and contractors
Excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to interact with variety of customers and stakeholders
Team leadership and organizational skills with the ability to motivate a team in multiple locations
Demonstrated teamwork skills with the business units and other IT teams to ensure the successful implementation and support for service request and/or project efforts
