SQL Reports Writer/Developer

Purpose: Database Reporting Specialist position opening with a Chicago based company. Position is responsible for creating reports from Microsoft SQL databases utilizing SQL Reporting Services 2005. Duties include but are not limited to database report development, database administration, and data manipulation. Gather user requirements for reports, interpret needs and design/enhance reports to meet end user expectations. Ability to meet project deadlines and work within a fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Reporting Services and MS SQL Server. Additional skills: Visual Studio, SQL Enterprise Manager, strong database concepts including knowledge of T-SQL, DTS and stored procedures, MS Access and Excel. Strong teamwork skills with ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills required. Previous experience with Crystal Reports is a plus. Preferred ? 2 plus years database reporting experience
