SQL Reporting Services/Developer

Purpose: TEKsystems is looking for a SQL developer/report writer for a contract to hire position in Jacksonville, FL.

Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
-Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (2+ years).
-Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Reporting Services (2+ years).
-Specific SQL Server application experience developing reporting applications (2+years).
-SQL Server Database Programming experience including complex stored procedures, database design (2+years)
-.Net or C# programming environment (2+years)
-Strong knowledge in creating scripts to manage batch processing of reports or programmatically manipulate any exposed functionality of reporting service including VB.Net.
-Strong logical and conceptual data modeling experience
-Strong knowledge of relational database concepts
-DTS Package development for ETL
-Knowledge of Enterprise Manager
-The ideal candidate would have extensive knowledge of developing and writing reports using MS SQL report services and Crystal Reports
-Proven ability to effectively communicate at interact at all levels of the organization
- Excellent comprehension (IT technical and/or general) of verbal (English Language) and written (English Language) instructions, processes, procedures and policy
- Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple priorities, and complete projects on time within a fast paced environment. Effective organizational and time management skills.
- ?Can do? attitude in approaching challenges.
-Demonstrated understanding of process, data, and object modeling tools and techniques
-Ability to establish effective working relationships with associates, counterparts and customers
-General knowledge of networks, hardware, operating systems, and applications
-Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products, as required.
-Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
-Highly self motivated and directed.
-Keen attention to detail.
-Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
