SQL Developer

Purpose: Seeking a SQL Database Developer for an exciting 6 month opportunity. This person will be helping with the workload and will be working on diverse activities not a specific project. Client currently has 5 people on their Database team and 30- 40 Databases. While they need a solid developer, this person must have understanding of the Administrative side of the database so that they are aware of what needs to be updated and the impact.

5 yrs of hands-on experience with MS SQL of various versions, SQL2K development,
SQL triggers, SQL Server Store Procedures code design, development, troubleshooting and Optimizing SQL Stored Procedures and experience with rollback and file and record locking. Bachelor's Degree is important (MIS or Computer Science preferred).Weekend and off-hour work required occasionally

VSS experience
DTS packages (ETL)
Database design
VB, .net, .asp experience
MS Certified SQL Developer
Experience with data modeling tool (ERwin)
