SQL Database Developer

Purpose: Job Description TEKsystems is currently seeking an experienced Software Engineer with strong database application skills for new development in the Compliance product line.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, unit test, and document enterprise level web-based applications using ASP.Net, C#, VB.Net, SQL Server, and Oracle.
- Participate as a team member in design, review, and planning meetings.
- Work with and research problems discovered by Quality Assurance or Technical Support teams and develop solutions to these problems.
- Document design and development work.
- Research new technology and development tools to remain abreast of current trends.

Education, Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
- Bachelors? degree in MIS/Engineering/Computer Science or related field.
- 5 years experience with strong emphasis on database application development using Microsoft SQL Server.
- 5 years experience with enterprise level application development using Microsoft technologies including Microsoft .Net technologies.
- Experience with OLAP, Business Intelligence, and Reporting tools.
- Experience in Visual Studio 2005 would be ideal.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
