SQL Database Administrator

L3 Communications Titan Group has an outstanding opportunity for Database Administrator within the Enterprise IT Services Division. The successful candidate must be a self-starter with an advanced level of experience working with / designing Microsoft SQL Databases. Specifically the candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and assisting in database design and changes to include creating databases, triggers, quires and reports. Additionally the DBA will be responsible for creating and implementing security policies, conducting daily backups, importing/exporting data to other systems, reporting, and client support.The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. A basic understanding of the Software
Development Lifecycle and product deliverables is recommended. A strong emphasis is placed on positive interpersonal skills. Must be experienced in interfacing with clients, managers and system users.
Back Ground and Experience Required (a): (including education, skills, work activities)Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance AND meet the requirements of DCID 6/4
4-6 years of Microsoft SQL Server Experience
2-4 Years Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Standard / Enterprise
Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server 2005
Windows 2003/2000/XP development environment.
Back Ground and Experience Desired (b): (including education, skills, work activities)
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Experience
4-6 years Oracle Experience
6-8 years of Microsoft SQL Server Experience
4-6 years Oracle Experience
B.S. Computer Science, Information System, Mathematics, or IT related field
Military background and Experience with Special Operations
Top Secret clearance AND meet the requirements of DCID 6/4
