Takes exceptional care of people by coordinating the clinical requirements necessary for enhancing the Information systems used that promote professional clinical practice. Provides the system testing and ongoing support of those systems. Communications ongoing CIS enhancements with various user groups and evaluates the need for system upgrades based on user needs. Evaluates the customer needs on a frequent basis and manages the user request process. Serves as a liaison in planning the design of clinical information systems. Customers include nursing, physicians and ancillary services. Promotes the safety and well-being of all customers and supports the key results area of Barnes-Jewish Hospital (Clinical Quality, Service Excellence, Financial Performance, and Positioning for the Future).Principal Accountabilities and Job Duties:
