SENIOR APPLICATION DEVELOPER
Hoffman Estates, IL

Responsibilities:
Participate on project teams developing and maintaining custom developed systems/interfaces.
Create technical specifications based on functional specifications.
Write code to meet technical specifications.
Test code and make appropriate modifications.
Complete appropriate documentation in compliance with all procedures and standards.
Recommend improvements/modifications to designs.
Report progress to managers, project leads an other required parties as appropriate.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in a computer-related area preferred.
Applied knowledge of intermediate to advanced object oriented programming techniques, methods and structures, data access and update techniques, methods and structures, multi-tier internet application architectures using Microsoft technologies.
Ability to work independently or as part of a larger team.
Rapidly learn and apply new, emerging application development and integration technologies and techniques.
Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
Create and maintain positive, productive working relationships with both technical and non-technical personnel.
Meet project-related commitments on time and with the highest standards of quality.
Emerging team leader.
Run small development project efforts.
Mentor junior team members on technical and non-technical project topics and issues.
