SAS Programmer Analyst Market Research

This position will support the day-to-day activities associated with syndicated vision care research projects, primary studies and client deliverables. The market research performed is utilized to assist HPR’s clients in determining their position in the market place related to competitors and provide market share and market trend information.

Primary responsibilities include:

Maintain and enhance existing SAS code related to syndicated market research studies
Program new SAS code for syndicated research
Write/maintain documentation for new/existing SAS programs
Oversee and maintain ophthalmic universe database to ensure accurate profiling
Build monthly and quarterly contact lens databases used to project study results
Support Director with monthly and quarterly mailing procedures and recruitment methodology
Update and maintain standard client reports utilizing data from the syndicated audit
Assist in the development of client presentations and deliverables using Excel/Powerpoint
Manipulate and clean data
REQUIREMENTS
Ideal candidates will have a B.S., preferably in Business or Quantitative Sciences discipline with 1-3 years professional experience. Must be proficient in SAS, Data NULL processing, SAS procedures, macro processing and SAS ODS output delivery system.
Knowledge of primary market research and/or syndicated market research methodologies and applications combines with strong analytical and problem solving skills. Detail oriented with strong customer service/ client service orientation. Ability to clearly discuss information and present it in written form.
