SAP XI Technical Consultant

We have an immediate need for a SAP XI Consultant. This is a 6months+ contract with a client of ours in Richmond,VA


Pay Range:

1099 Independent Contractor: 70$/hr + travel

Skills / Requirements:

Atleast 7-10 years experience in the IT industry is required.


Minimum 3 years of technical SAP experience in Development of Interfaces and Application Integration

- Strong analytical and technical skills

o Excellent ABAP programming skills including BAdls

o Strong IDOC/ALE/BAPI skills

o Basic Workflow Knowledge and understand use of SAP Business Workflow for error processing

o Working knowledge of SAP XI, SAP Development Certification is a big plus

o In particular excellent knowledge of following components are essential:

§ System Landscape Directory

§ Integration Repository

§ Integration Directory

§ Runtime Workbench

§ Integration Builder

§ Mapping (Graphical using standard and user functions, ABAP or XSLT or Java)

§ Adapters

- File Adapter

- JDBC

- Plain HTTP

- IDoc

- RFC

- SOAP

- Proxies and their programming

- BPM (step types, correlations, containers, basis process patterns, exception handling, monitoring and troubleshooting)

- Familiarity with functionality of FI, SD, MM, WM, PP

- Ability to build strong working relationships with functional project teams

- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills

- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

- Detail oriented

- Exercises mature judgment

- Ability to work both independently and as part of team
