Abbott is the largest employer in Lake County, IL, with 12,000 employees at its corporate headquarters, near Waukegan.Great opportunity for an experienced SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) techno/ functional analyst to join Abbott's SAP Center of Excellence team. Objective: Define, plan and design systems requirements for new or modified SAP SD functionality, in the preparation of system specifications, and in the development, testing, and implementation of efficient, cost effective application solutions.Responsibilities include: requirements analysis, design, coding, configuration, documentation, and testing of applications. Applies SAP SD functional understanding to support the existing implementation. Provides expertise in gap analysis, configuration and development of Abbott's existing Sales Management implementation within the SAP 4.6C instance. Assures that the system and all the functions run correctly, verifies results against requirements, and executes test protocols. Follows existing procedures and standards for system development, configuration and administration. Other duties will include adherence to change management procedures. Good communication and technical troubleshooting skills required. Strong functional understanding in the areas of Deliveries, ATP, interface design in the delivery process, and Customer and Product Master Data highly desired.Qualifications
4 - 7 years of relevant SAP system analysis experience, serving in a techno/functional role in ABAP development, testing, and configuration of the SD module.Relocation assistance is not available with this position.Abbott welcomes and encourages employee diversity.
