SAP NetWeaver Portal Developer

Purpose: Our client is the world's leading supplier of process control and yield management solutions for the semiconductor and related microelectronics industries. The company's comprehensive portfolio of products, software, analysis, services and expertise is designed to help IC manufacturers manage yield throughout the entire wafer fabrication process-from R&D to final yield analysis. Since yield improvements are key to increasing manufacturing productivity and profitability, the yield management market that our client leads has outperformed the semiconductor capital equipment market segment as a whole.

They are currently looking for a full time SAP NetWeaver Portal / Web Developer to design, develop, and test enterprise portal solutions for our client's business units (Sales, Service, Operations, Finance and Work Force Systems). As a developer, the candidate will be able to determine the best practices necessary for resolving complex business issues.

The SAP Portal Developer will:

* Provide sound architecture designs utilizing various applications and platforms (i.e., SAP NetWeaver EP6, NetWeaver Developer Studio and content management integration)
* Responsible for portal configuration, application design, and implementation.
* Provide analysis and development of iViews using both Java and J2EE.

Responsibilities include:
* Developing and customizing application using SAP NetWeaver Studio for building iViews, Java WebDynPro based applications.
* Developing custom Web-based Java and J2EE applications.
* Utilizing SAP Java development tools like NetWeaver Studio, Visual Composer and Portal Development Kit (PDK).
* Leveraging SAP NetWeaver Java Development Infrastructure (JDI) for version control, object deployment and team development.
* Developing detailed technical specifications and system documentation.

Minimum Requirements:
* 3 years of experience in custom development of Java, JSP and J2EE applications.
* Experience with building WebDynPro applications using SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio.
* Experience with Model View Controller (MVC) concepts and architecture.
* Web and Portal development experience.
* Solid knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and System Development Methodologies.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills .
