SAN Project Manager

Purpose: Our client is seeking a Project Manager with an extensive background in large storage systems deployment. This is a long term Right- to- Hire contract in Bentonville, Arkansas. This person will be expected to have a strong SAN background?specifically, in large scale architecture including core and edge configurations . This person will fully support deployments on an enterprise level in a deadline intensive environment.

The successful candidate should have experience in a management and technical leadership role and must have applicable experience in managing budgets, managing resources, meeting schedules, solving conflicts and meeting quality objectives. The project manager will be responsible for building relationships?specifically, internal team, customer team, sales team, customer service team, and customer relationships.

Expected responsibilities include technical and management leadership in implementing storage solutions, managing storage capacity, troubleshooting storage issues, analyzing storage performance, and designing storage architectures. These capabilities will include expectation of managing host configurations as well. Familiarity with EMC and partner software is required, e.g., ECC, PowerPath, SAN Manager, StorageScope, Navisphere, SRDF, etc.

PMI PMP Certification is preferable.
