Reports/Integration Manager (Technical Lead)-Inpatient Systems

1. Collaborate with analysts, vendor development staff and system owner in the integration of new software programs and applications to determine impact.
2. Analyze documentation and technical specifications of any new application under deployment or consideration to determine its intended functionality and impact to current modules in the inpatient system.
3. Ensure that any new software integration into company systems meets system compliance and interface specifications.
4. Direct the design and construction of reports, dashboards, and interfaces, and the underlying data structures.
5. Prioritize and manage the development of systems interfaces and customer reports and dashboards.
6. Liaise with IS operations and software vendor to provide expertise on the core components of the system.
7. Liaise with company’s software suppliers for prompt rectification of any problems or emergencies.
8. Contribute to pre-testing phase of development by evaluating proposals in order to identify potential problem areas, and make the appropriate recommendations.
10. Actively participate on Change Control Board to evaluate changes being made to production applications and potential impact to inpatient systems.
11. Compile and maintain inventory of Inpatient interfaces, reports, and dashboards.
12. Review and analyze existing interface effectiveness and efficiency, and then develop strategies for improving or leveraging these.Job Requirements
Qualifications:
1. Minimum five years direct experience managing software development teams and the delivery of commercial grade software products.
2. Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of software solutions.
3. Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures.
4. Strong customer-service orientation.
5. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
6. Proven ability to build a strong, cohesive development team.
7. Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
8. Extensive experience with core software applications, including Referral Management ,ADT, Patient Assessments, Patient Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Collections
9. Extensive experience in web based development technology and solutions, including SQL Database, Crystal Enterprise, HL7, user interfaces, data presentation, and business intelligence tools
10. Excellent communication (written and oral) , team leadership, mentoring and project management skils.
11. Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
12. Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
13. Ability to conduct research into application issues and products.
14. Highly self-motivated and directed.
15. Keen attention to detail.
16. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
18. Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
19. Experience with healthcare and patient care systems is desirable
