Remedy-Sr. Applications Developer

Employment Type: Regular Full/Part Time: Full Time Division: IT Location: FIFTH THIRD CENTER, CINCINNATI, OHGENERAL FUNCTION:
Develops cost-effective information technology solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications. Coordinates with users to determine requirements. Codes, tests, debugs documents and implements complex software applications. May coordinate activities of the project team and assist in monitoring project schedules and costs.
The position is on the Technical/Professional ladder at level 3 in the Applications Development discipline.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Designs, codes, tests and implements application programs in accordance with client specifications.
2. Coordinates project resources for application projects with minor complexity.
3. Analyzes, codes, tests and documents routine enhancements made to new and/or existing programs.
4. Interprets business requirements and identifies solutions to meet business objectives.
5. Demonstrates proven knowledge in one or more applications or systems.
6. Analyzes application systems and programming logic problems and, where necessary, revises logic and procedures.
7. Participates in 24x7 production support on-call rotation.
8. Other duties as required.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:None Job RequirementsMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:Undergraduate degree in computer-related field, with 3-6 years of computer-related experience. Must Have Qualifications: 2-3 years administrative and development experience using the Remedy Action Request System and ITSM suite ARS 6.x experience ITSM 5.x or higher experience Reporting experience using Crystal 8.x or higher Strong analytical and technical skills Good oral and written communication skills Dedicated team player and mentor Additional Qualifications ITIL certification CMDB design and/or implementation Remedy API knowledge Project Management and SDLC experience Business requirements gathering Remedy Integration with other technologies and systems E.O.E., M/F/D/V
