Release Coordination Lead

Basic Function:Release Coordination Lead - PMO
This position is responsible for defining and coordinating standards, processes and procedures for deploying CCSP application releases to the CCSP Test, Pre-Production, and Production environments. Responsible for deployment coordination, planning, QA and oversight with CCSP Project Team(s), CCSP Application Support Team(s), other HCSC Application Support Teams, SSD, EIS and EAS. Inventorying, refining and defining HCSCs approaches, standards, procedures, and measures as necessary for the Deployment function. Preparing the CCSP Deployment plan. Developing approaches, and procedures for software deployment, contingency planning and rollback in multiple test and production environments which may encompass multiple platforms, Overseeing the deployment of application systems within a large, multi-project, multi-platform environment. Planning and coordinating the deployment of release packaged software components into various test and production environments. Developing CCSP procedures for preparing a Release Plan document describing the activities, schedule, checklists, approvals and contingency procedures for coordinating a CCSP Production Release. Planning and coordinating CCSP Release deployment with Operations, Change Control, Release Management, Enterprise Infrastructure Services, Database Operations, Help Desk, Problem Management and other HCSC and vendor teams that have no reporting structure to this position
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements:1) Three years of work experience with a Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences or related software development and deployment experience OR Four years of work experience with a Technical Certificate or college courses OR Five years of work experience. 2) Minimum 5 years working in a formal project management environment using a software development methodology. 3) Strong operations support experience. 4) Operations Change Management experience. 5) Disaster Recovery planning and implementation. 6) Strong planning and organizational skills. 7) Excellent communication skills and ability to influence and lead. 8) Demonstrated project experience managing software development and deployment projects across all phases. 9) Deployment experience in the following environments: USS, UNIX, AIX, WINDOWS, CICS (batch and interactive) with DB2
Preferred Job Requirements:1) Mainframe USS, CICS, (batch and interactive), Distributed environments AIX, Windows, VSAM, DB2. 2) Languages: COBOL, Java, SQL, JCL. 3) Formal methodologies: SDLC, RUP. 4) Tools: WebSphere, Endevor, Rational, CVS, Zeek, Zeena, Omegamon, MS Office
