Regional Technician-Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Technicians will report to a selected Wal-Mart Store or 'home store' each day and assist with completing project installations and responding to service tickets/issues at our Stores, Clubs, and Distribution Centers in and around the Ft. Lauderdale metropolitan area. We need quality- and customer-focused candidates who are used to working in deadline-driven environments and have a flexible work schedule. Company vehicle will be provided for local travel and participation in an on-call rotation is required.
REQUIREMENTS
This is a full-time, permanent, non-exempt position based in the Ft. Lauderdale and surrounding metro area ('home store' has yet to be determined). Wal-Mart will not provide relocation assistance for this position. Candidates must possess (at least) the following: 1. 2+ years of experience with Cat 5/5e, Coax, fiber, etc. OR a working knowledge of data networking OR combination of current field operations experience and technical experience/knowledge,2. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel,3. Flexible work schedule,4. Valid driver's license and clean driving record,5. Effective communication and decision making skills.
