Regional Sales Director for High Growth Software Company

The Opportunity
• Company is experiencing quarter after quarter high growth
• Award winning products. Very competitive solutions.
• Best solution in its area out in the market for at least the next two years
• Over 75% of people at or over quota
• Size of company allows for flexibility and quick decisions
• Company has been around since ‘80’s and has a respectable record of employee longevity.
• Very experienced management. Management knows and understands nature of complex sales cycle. Management actively participates
• Company is a sales-driven company
• Excellent technical sales support. Ratio of 1 to 1 presales to sales
• Reasonable, achievable quotas

The Position
• Regional Sales Director to manager sales team in the Central region.
• Sales Team consists of Sr Sales Executives, Sr Sales Engineers, Inside Sales Team
• You will be supported by a seasoned executive management pool of talent
• You will target F1000 accounts. You will lead your team to sell high dollar value, complex sales deals into these accounts
REQUIREMENTS
• Must prove that you are an “A” player, defined as a solid record of achievement as a software sales manager.
• Must have experience leading a team selling large, complex enterprise sales deals
• Experience selling ERP, CRM, SCM software is helpful.
• Must have carried a bag—have a record of quota achievement as a software salesperson.
• We'd like to see candidates with experience from companies that sell into the application development lifecycle, such as BMC, Merant, Computer Associates, Serena, Compuware, Telelogic, BEA, Intersolv, Cyanea Systems, Oracle, SAP, Siebel, Matrix One, Intergraph, IBM, Keynote, Mercury Interactive, Precise Software Solutions, RadView Software, Resonate, Segue, Tonic, Watchfire, Rational, Borland or other similar players.
