Real Estate Transaction Specialist

Trammell Crow Company, one of the nation's largest commercial real estate service providers, has an opening for a Real Estate Transaction Specialist in Fairfax, VA.

Working directly with a Transaction Manager, this position supports a variety of real estate functions on a high-profile corporate account involving retail acquisitions and dispositions. The Specialist’s responsibilities include ordering, tracking, and managing all due diligence items (appraisals, titles, and surveys) as needed; managing and tracking critical dates related to contract milestones; preparing proposals and closing documents; maintaining working files; updating databases and websites; responding to information requests from internal and external sources; managing revenues and receivables associated with transactions; analyzing legal documents and overseeing transaction closings; and adhering to the organization’s compliance standards. Position performs various other support duties typically required in commercial real estate transactions. Regularly works with brokers, title companies, third-party settlement companies, and internal accounting and lease administration teams.

REQUIREMENTS
Requires bachelor’s degree and 3+ years' related real estate experience or similar combination of education and experience. Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office applications; excellent administrative skills; strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; demonstrated excellence in providing internal and external customer service. Ability to interpret surveys, title commitments, appraisals, environmental reports, and engineering assessments a plus. Paralegal training and experience with real estate contract negotiations also a plus.
