RPG Developer

RPG Programmer Job Description (Responsibilities):
Our RPG programmers work within the Supply Chain Systems Development group supporting our transactional application infrastructure in the areas of inventory, financial and order management systems along with interfaces providing system integration to internal and external systems. Will be responsible for supporting existing applications, enhancing system functionality and scalability. In addition you will have the opportunity to work with IBM’s latest development toolsets involving web-enablement and web-services. You will work closely with project managers and will be involved in all phases of a project including: planning, reviewing specifications, documentation, scheduling, development, testing and support.

Minimum Requirements:
3-5 yrs experience in RPG 400 and CL
Experienced with ILE and embedded SQL
Proficient with sub-file processing and embedded SQL
Strong database design
Excellent Communication Skills Mandatory

Desirable Requirements:
5-8 yrs experience RPG 400, CL and ILE
Proficient with sub-file processing and embedded SQL
Strong database design experience
Knowledge of Aldon Change Management toolset
Experience with software application package(s) in the retail, distribution or e-commerce industry
Experience implementing WebSphere Development Suite, XML and/or Web Facing products.

JDA application experience a plus
