Maintains good working relationships and cooperates actively with superiors and other company and outside associates to ensure that the objectives of the company are met.



PRIMARY FUNCTION:



Assure the quality of released products by conducting functionality and regression tests of software before release. Works under direct supervision.



MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



Document and maintain software revision history.

Aid in the development and documentation of test plans and test procedures.

Conduct software testing of new products/releases for functionality.

Conduct regression tests.

Assist in the debug process by testing and troubleshooting.

Assist in the configuration and maintenance of test systems used by QA department.



Other duties as required.

Skills







Good understanding of Visual Basic is a must.

Ability to write scripts (write scripts in CompuWare is a plus).

Good working knowledge of XML, HTML and SQL language.

Proficient with various Microsoft Windows operating systems.

A capacity to learn new software/procedures quickly.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

General troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

Ability to handle multiple priorities at one time.

Ability to make independent decisions.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Ability to learn quickly in order to work efficiently and meet deadlines.



EXPERIENCE:

1-2 years experience in a technical position.



EDUCATION:

Associates degree or equivalent combination and/or experience in related field.
