Quality Assurance Team Lead

Our direct client based in Columbus, Ohio has a 6 months contract need for a Quality Assurance Team Lead.

The job responsibilities include the following:


1) Supervise the QA team in their Micro Strategy and SAS testing efforts
Partner with the project manager to successfully execute testing methodologies
Apply testing methodology, knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities to meet project requirements.

2) Manage competing demands relevant to scope, schedule, cost, risk and quality; and differing stakeholder requirements and expectations to satisfactory outcomes.

3) Manage in coordination with the Test Coordinator all aspects of the testing effort including: test strategy documents, daily testing plans, development of test cases and scenarios.

4) Assist the testing coordinator in executing test cases as needed, coordinate daily test planning and progress reporting, provide support to test analysts and coordinate with 3rd parties (i.e. banks, credit card providers, etc).

5) Track and report project progress, performance, risk and issues to project stakeholders.

Familiar with Data Warehouse report testing

Specific Experience:
At least 2 -3 years experience in Lead / Supervisor Role, experience in Mercury Interactive Test Director
3 years, hands-on experience working with industry-standard Relational Database Management Systems, Teradata preferred
Knowledge of MSI, SAS, Advanced SQL scripting for QA.
