Quality Assurance/Application Tester
Florida Health Care Plans is seeking a Quality Assurance/Application Tester for Holly Hill Information Systems Department.
Identify and document Information Systems Quality Assurance Practices and Procedures Create, design, and document test plans, scripts, and scenarios
Perform all aspects of application testing including functional, regression, performance, usability, and acceptance testing
Participation in design specifications review and technical documentation reviews
Communicate status of assigned tasks daily to the appropriate audiences and IS staff by utilizing the IS Resource Request System and Time Entry System

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree or technical certification in Computer Science or related field of Information Technology, and 5 years of experience is required
Minimum of 3 years experience in software testing and quality assurance is required
Knowledge of Software Test/Quality Assurance methodologies and application of those method-ology is required
Experience and understanding of software development life cycle is required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills is required
Experience working with multiple database interfaces and be familiar with standard web archi-tecture is required
Experience with AllScripts Touchworks, iHealth or other EMR/EHR applications is highly desir-able
Health Care experience is a plus
Experience or exposure to working with the .NET Framework or iSeries is desirable
Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following programming languages is highly de-sirable: RPG IV/ILE, LANSA, Java/J2EE, JSP, Java Script, SQL, C#, or XML
