Quality Assurance Analyst:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Contact Management systems, Order Processing systems, Database, Development, Project Management, Spreadsheet, Word Processing, Email, and Internet software.
Proficient in the following Operating Systems: MS-Dos 6.22, Windows (98, ME, NT, 2000), Novell.
Proficient in MS-Office including Access, and Visio.
Experience using SQL with SQL server.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms and may be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Tests software programs to compare to specifications and documentation.
Identifies, analyzes, and documents defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions, outputs, online screens, and content.
Establishes benchmarks for program efficiency in operating and response times.
Creates test cases and test data.
Contributes to establishment of standards and procedures for program design and testing.
Recommends program improvements or revisions to programmers
Identifies program variances from standards and suggests modifications to conform.
Conducts Web compatibility tests with other software programs, hardware, multiple operating systems, and network environments.
Monitors program performance after implementation to prevent recurrence of program operating problems and ensure efficiency of operation.
Documents, tracks, and communicates test plans, test results, analysis, and unresolved problems.
Reviews and contributes to software program documentation.
Documents upgrade steps to provide deployment teams with necessary steps for implementation.
Develops formal test plans using detailed system requirements, administer and setup test environment, execute test cases, track progress of test plans to completion.
Reviews and comprehends application requirements from documentation and meetings. Writes verification test plan documentation. Performs verification tests as per plan and document results.
Ensures that the application performs as per specifications.
Identifies software bugs and determine problem. Duplicates software bugs reported and determine the means in which they were found. Enters Bug reports into company Bug Tracking system.
Reviews software logs and reports to identify program-processing errors and recommends possible improvements.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree or related experience and/or training.
Four year minimum experience in software testing and complex problem solving is required.
Must possess a strong work ethic as well as effective oral and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
Must be able to provide end-user training both individually & through group presentations.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and abilities.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently or as a member of a team in a variety of roles ranging from providing assistance to assuming task leadership.
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Demonstrate ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to assess current project to identify risks to project quality and timeline.
Decision-Making: Moderate degree of decision-making authority.
Relationships: This job forms internal relationships with the Executive, Accounting, Human Resources, Technology, Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Risk Management Departments. This job forms external relationships with some vendors.
