Quality Assurance Analyst

Assist growing Quality Assurance department in creating and implementing test plans that describe the scope, strategies, test cases and environment for testing.Write detailed test cases that can be used in manual or automated testing.Pioneer the development of automated testing for functional and load test cases. Help configure an improved testing facility at an enterprise class hosting facility. Gannett Media Technologies International, with offices in Tempe, Norfolk and Cincinnati, is an Internet/technology division of Gannett Co., Inc. (GCI). This position involves testing applications before they are deployed into production and working with development and operations staff throughout the development and production lifecycle. GMTI provides application management and hosting for a wide variety of Internet products for Gannett and non-Gannett operating units.

REQUIREMENTS
Requires 2-4 years of recent experience in quality assurance for web based applications. Also requires experience with Java Script, HTML, XSL, relational database management system databases and Windows or UNIX operating systems. Experience with any of the following testing tools is preferred: Visual Studio 2005 Team Test Edition, TracePlus/Web Detective Spirent Edition, Spirent Avalanche, Rational Robot and Watir. Experience with the Rational Unified Process, content management and ad management software a plus.
