Quality Assur Analyst III

Includes analysis of business and user needs, documenting requirements, and revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary.
Carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet minimum company standards and end-user requirements. Tests software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. Documents all problems and works to resolve them; reports progress on problem resolution to management. Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations. Performs workflow analysis and recommends quality improvements. Under general direction, formulates and defines systems scope and objectives. Consults with and provides input on procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Performs analysis, documentation, and translation into proper system requirement. Competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis. Usually works with minimum supervision, conferring with supervisor on unusual matters. Assignments are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and ingenuity.

The Corporate IT Financial Reporting team has the immediate need for a Quality Analyst Level III. This position will be responsible for assuring the development and testing of the Profit By Line project continually focus on quality. The individual will work with Developers and Business contacts in the Corporate Finance area, and will be responsible for creating and executing test scripts on both Mainframe and Server platforms.

Experience and Technical Skills Required:
3-5 years of QA/Testing experience

Experience working with outside vendors
Demonstrated problem solving abilities
Familiarity with both Mainframe and Server test techniques
Demonstrated skill with SQL
Sound knowledge of industry standards and methodologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Database testing

Experience with Performance testing a plus
Experience with test automation tools such as Mercury LoadRunner a plus
