QA Manager/Test Lead

GDS specializes in building technology solutions that can be leveraged across Citi's Global

Consumer group. It develops a variety of product and services for delivery over the Internet, or

via cell phones and other wireless devices. The integration and & QA department of GDS is

responsible for integrating and testing the products to insure that all requirements have been

met and that the products can be deployed to the field meeting corporate IT standards.

The Senior Test Analyst and Technical Lead, will plan, review, and oversee Product Test activities

for the Middleware Test group in relation to the JFP product's Java-based used with on-line

financial portals.

These responsibilities include:

Coordination of testing tasks across the middleware test team, as they apply to release

certification of middleware components.

Test lab management.

Analyze requirements/design documents and develop test plans/test cases, then execute those

test cases, for Java-based application server components for Java Financial Platform system.

Installing and configuring Sun and IBM/AIX machines for testing target software.

Test Java-based components for use with on-line financial portals.

Write certification report after testing is completed.

Work with developers and other testers to conduct integration testing.

Contribute to documentation such as programmers' and installation guides.
REQUIREMENTS


BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science.

Sincere desire to work as a Systems Analyst in a product test role.

Two years experience working with automated testing tools.

Experience working with Solaris Operating System and or IBM/AIX. Knowledge of Windows 2000

a plus.

Ability to create JSP pages.

2-3 years of experience with Java programming language.

Familiarity with J2EE Application Server environments such as Weblogic is required. Websphere

preferred.

Experience with XML, JDBC, JAXB, SAX and other Java technologies.

Posses a Strong Understanding of Oracle database software.

Good written and oral communication skills are essential.

Must be able to work in a team environment.

Must demonstrate flexibility and the ability to multi-task.

Must be detail-oriented.
