QA Lead with Automation Skills

Responsibilities: The associate in this position will perform the following functional duties: Work with the Business System Analysts (BSAs) to review test requirements, develop test scenarios/test cases, test data and expected results necessary to thoroughly test business requirements. Interact with the development team on a daily basis to resolve and close bugs and understand the application architecture, functional and data requirements and integration with other systems. Coordinate work efforts of the QA team and provide testing guidance / best practices and work direction. Ensure there is regular and effective communication between QA team members and with the team at large. Coordinate with Team Manager and Test Lead to plan testing activities for the QA team and ensure testing is completed within committed time and with appropriate risk mitigation. Define appropriate test techniques and tools. Assist with and perform governance of testing standards as they are defined and published. Specify and verify the required Test Environment Configurations. Work independently and also work in a test team setting. Currently, this company is doing all manual testing, however they are implementing a new automation framework that this person will be instrumental in helping with. They currently use Mercury Quick Test Pro and are integrating with Quality Center.
