Project Quality Specialist

Participates as core team member on Insurance Services project teams representing Business Quality Control for all business unit partner projects. Responsible for developing, documenting and obtaining stakeholder approvals on project business requirements. Develops, coordinates and signs off on user acceptance testing. Provides UAT test results summary on all assigned projects. Serves as subject/system expert and provides support to IS and its business partners on assigned projects. Adhere strictly to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with HSBC and regulatory standards, policies and practices; reports control weaknesses and compliance breaches.

job Requirements



Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, business administration or related field

Three years experience in the insurance and financial services fields

LOMA Professional Insurance Education courses a plus

Proven project management, planning, organizational, statistical, analytical, communications, presentation and lateral thinking skills

Must be proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel, working knowledge of Visio and Access is preferred

Ability to work independently, multi-task in a fast paced environment and effectively prioritize work assignments to meet deadlines
