Project Manger--Wilmington, DE--Pharmaceutical

The Judge Group is looking for a Project Manger to work as a consultant of Judge on-site at a client in Wilmington, DE.This is 6 month consulting assignment with an industry leader.Provide leadership, direction, and day-to-day management to projects that support information systems for the Compliance Department and Company as a whole. Collaborate with other roles in the organization and external customers to implement and operate information systems that deliver advantages to the Commercial organization. Work closely with Client Partners and Business Consultants to understand the functional requirements and ensure projects deliver on these requirements. Work closely with Resource Managers and Application Support Managers to transition projects from the development to operations and support stages of the systems life cycle.Major Responsibilities:• Consult with management and review project proposals to determine goals, time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of resources
• Develop project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources
• Formulate and define scope and objectives of project
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent business/project management experience- 5 years of project management experience.- 5 years experience with systems development life cycle- Ability to set and manage multiple priorities, resources, goals and projects- Ability to link actions to organizational success- Customer-focused- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence others to achieve outcomes- Strong interpersonal communication (written and oral) and relationship building skillsPreferred Background- 5+ years pharmaceutical or related industry experience- 5+ years project management experience- 6+ years experience with business process analysis and design- PMP/PMBOK certification- IS PM Model experience- Accomplished facilitation and negotiating skills
