Project Manager - Software Industry

Sigma Communications, makers of the patented REVERSE 911® system, has an immediate opening for Project Manager. The Project Manager will be responsible for specific client(s) and will manage all project resources to perform tasks according to plan; and set expectations concerning deliverability, performance, maintenance, design and costs. They will be able to estimate time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement projects. The person in this role will possess strong communication, presentation, time management, organization, planning, and technical skills. This person will demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as a team leader, managing mission critical projects.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Serve as the primary contact and facilitator for assuring customer satisfaction during the projectPrepare, monitor, and complete detailed project plans for each projectQuickly identify problem situations, perform risk analysis, take ownership of the problem, and lead the client and project team to an acceptable solution for the problemLead teams of professionals providing consulting and other servicesCommunicate project status to all levels of the client’s company and Sigma’s internal organization through the scheduling of regular meetings and conference calls as critical tasksAssist with product implementation and training as requiredTravel to client sites on a regular basis and work non-standard hours as requiredOther special projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
Our minimum requirements are as follows:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant certifications in lieu of college degree
At least three to five years of related project management, support, product consulting or technical product development experience required
Software industry knowledge and experience required
Demonstrated, successful project management experience and ability to provide leadership to other team members
