Project Manager- Intermediate

Under general direction, the Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of the development and the implementation of assigned projects. He/she is responsible for the following:

Provides a single point of authority/contact for project(s) assigned
May have responsibility for multiple projects in different phases of the development life cycle
Takes projects from original concept through final implementation
Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including business sponsors, operations, application development, end users, computer services, client services, operations, vendors, etc.
Defines project scope and objectives
Develops detailed workplans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports
Conducts project meetings and produces meeting minutes and issues logs
Produces risk analysis and risk mitigation plans
Responsible for project tracking and analysis
Ensures adherence to Project Management Process, Systems Development Methodology and quality standards for producing project deliverables
Provides project management, technical and analytical guidance to the project team
Manages vendor selection, contract negotiations, the integration of vendor tasks into the workplan and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables
Ensures quality deliverables are produced as planned
Manages people, work and resources as planned
Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solution of complex problems
Mentors Associate Project Managers on PM Process and EPM Tools
REQUIREMENTS
An under graduate degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience in a Project Management capacity as single point of authority. PMP and big 4 consulting experience is a plus. Formal training and certification in System Development Life Cycle and Project Management process a plus. Experience with Enterprise Project Management Tools a plus.
