Our Bristol West team is looking for a Programmer/Analyst who will be using a proprietary application development tool suite that focuses on a rule based, metadata system to develop and maintain Point of Sale personal auto insurance products; to define data transformations between object based and legacy systems, and to communicate among them.
REQUIREMENTS
Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a Information Technology field. Two years experience and/or training needs to include a critical mix of exposure to object oriented and relational database concepts, SQL, Java and XML. PL/SQL will be a plus. Prior work experience in an Auto Insurance environment will be a bonus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a necessity, as is the ability to work with others having diverse skill sets and backgrounds. Attention to detail is also a must.
