APC is seeking a Programmer/Analyst position will be responsible for the development, maintenance and enhancement of our EDI Integrations and Oracle Applications software. This position will focus primarily on EDI/XML EDI & ACH transactions and mapping for manufacturing, distribution, order management and finance, scheduling and support for production EDI. This position shares responsibility with other team members to ensure on-time application delivery, which requires a clear understanding of expectations and capabilities and the ability to act effectively as a team member. Additional responsibilities include providing support for production EDI and system integrations, providing technical consulting support, and other duties as needed.Primary Activities:% of TimeDescription of Essential Function

Skills/Competency Analysis:
Qualified candidates will possess a four-year college degree in Computer Science or Business, or equivalent experience, and 3-5 years belated work experience. This position requires proficient knowledge of EDI/XML/ACH transactions and mapping, AS2, ANSI & EDIFACT Standards, FTP/SFTP, UNIX, Shell scripting, Oracle’s PL/SQL language, Java and SQL. The ideal candidate will have experience with eVision translation and mapping software and Oracle’s EDI and XML Gateway application modules.
Successful candidates will have general business knowledge in manufacturing, distribution, order management and finance, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms, strong project management skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. International travel may be required.
