Programmer

Division: Rubbermaid Home Products Job Description: This position will define computer system requirements and interactions with user activities. Design system workflow for computer processing in accordance with user activities. Help in designing control capabilities and audit trails that assure the integrity of processing from data sources through all processing states (user M.I.S.). Work through developmental tasks required to implement designed systems. Specify computer program requirements. Design, develop, and implement computer programs and related procedures. Design, develop, and implement user procedures as required. Prepare and maintain system documentation. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job RequirementsSkills, Traits and Knowledge: The individual should posses programming expertise and be able to focus on assessing and solving programming problems. The associate should be experienced in or willing to learn new programming languages and reporting tools with an ability to accept challenges in working with multiple computer technologies. The Programmer must be able to work within tight deadlines and changing priorities. The ideal candidate will have minimum of 2 years experience in the following areas:
Visual Basic 6, VB.NET / C#, ASP.NET, Classic ASP (HTML & Visual Basic script)
Microsoft SQL 2000 Administration, T-SQL (DB Programming)Reporting tool experience (Crystal Reports, MS Reporting Services, and Cognos
Problem solving
Sound communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with users at all levels within the organization
