Programmer

Purpose: Our Client is in need of a Business Application Programmer to grow with their Company! Qualified candidate will devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems which include uncovering the desired results to meet the business needs of the user.

Responsibilities :

- Formulate and design system scope and objectives
- Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written or application software packages procured
- Perform other duties as required or assigned by management

Education/Formal Training: Bachelor's degree in such areas as; accounting, business administration, statistics, mathematics, computer science, and/or 3 years directly related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suites
- 1+ Years of development experience in Oracle technologies like PL/SQL, SQL
- 1+ Years of Oracle Applications experience both from a functional and a technical point of view
- Strong oral and written business presentation skills
- Knowledge of general operating principles and capabilities of computers and other data processing equipment
- Skilled in preparing test data, in testing and debugging a single program or series of programs
- Ability to provide guidance and training to less experienced analyst/programming staff
- Ability to analyze business operations and to organize system components into a logical solution for the user
- Gather, research and analyze data skillfully
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- React well under pressure
- Experience with Oracle Reports and Oracle Forms is a Plus
