Position Purpose
Responsible for the development of an overall strategic plan and project management for the specific area of focus which may include one or more of the following: The Home Depot Supply Trade Distribution Intercompany Sales
Program, The Home Depot Supply E-Business, similar programs for other The Home Depot/The Home Depot Supply entities, marketing (email campaigns, direct mail, Intranet
postings), catalog/mini-catalog distribution to the enterprise, and any other Strategic Initiative program that
might be launched.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Must pass the Drug Test.
Must pass the Background Check.
Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable.
Education Required
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a
bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Physical Job Requirements
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is
frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in business management of ecommerce sites using applications such as WebSphere, Broadvision, or other enterprise solutions.
Previous experience in business management of data assets and content management systems such as Documentum, Big Hammer, or other enterprise solutions.
Previous experience in business management of ecommerce analytical tools such as Omniture, Core Metrics, or other enterprise solutions.
Previous development of ROI for ebusiness feature enhancements and new ebusiness programs.
Support of Marketing programs via content management processes.
Previous experience establishing eBusiness requirements as a result of direct customer and Sales Team interaction.
Understanding of Project Management Lifecycle.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies
Strong verbal and written skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Understanding of marketing principals.
Project management skills.
Ability to review and analyze statistical data, draw conclusions, and recommendations.
Ability to develop and motivate a team of associates towards the completion of goals.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Manage and execute the strategy and communication for all projects within the area of responsibility:
Develop the annual strategies for each area of responsibility to maximize impact towards corporate and
departmental goals.
P&L responsibility, including budgeting, for each program and managing expenses
throughout the year.
Work with other functional areas to create a comprehensive plan and time-line and
ensure critical dates are met.
Projects are to be managed within the specified strategic and budget
parameters.
Analyze the results of all activities and report on the findings regularly.
Develop, negotiate, and
manage key relationships with peers, vendors, and customers.
Establish and document policies and
procedures.
Responsible for the development and accuracy of all related project reporting and analysis.
Enhancements/changes to programs should be made based on the interpretation and impact of the results.
The analytics should directly relate to the P&L impact of the area of responsibility. Findings are to be
communicated to the appropriate individuals.
Special projects or assignments, including participation in company wide initiatives as a Strategic Initiatives
representative.
Conduct primary research to identify additional opportunities. Research is to be conducted directly or
facilitated through the Research Team. Maintain a competitive analysis for your area of responsibility.
