Product Development Manager – i3PL

AmeriCold Logistics, the largest provider of temperature controlled warehousing and distribution services in the US, is seeking a Product Development Manager - i3PL to join the team at our Corporate Office in Atlanta, GA. Primary Responsibility: The position is responsible for the development, delivery, and management of AmeriCold’s web-enabled supply chain i3PL technology product offering to ensure that a progressive, quality end product is introduced to AmeriCold’s customer base and to the 3PL customer market as a whole. He or she will be responsible for all phases of product development and execution including, but not limited to: functional requirements definition, testing, end-user training, marketing and customer communication programs, and product-lifecycle management. Essential Functions include: 1. Development of user functional requirements and reporting. 2. Functional and product testing 3. Oversight and coordination of training material development 4. Management of all product-related training including: a. Internal sales training. b. Customer training. 5. Project budgeting, management and reporting. 6. Working with the Director of Marketing, execution of introductory launch and future product release marketing campaigns. 7. Interacting with Operations, Transportation, Field Sales, and National Account Sales to generate and manage project deliverables as needed. 8. Participate in customer meetings and training presentations where needed.
Job Requirements
Qualifications/Additional Skills:
BA/BS degree
MBA preferable
5-7 years work experience in product-related marketing, preferably in 3PL/operations based industry
Experience in new product/service development and launches
Exceptional project management skills
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Strong command of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
