Physical Data Modeler

Purpose: TEKsystems is in search for a Physical Data Modeler to work for one of our highly respected client located with the Philadelphia area.

Candidates are required to have the following:

*Extensive experience with SQL and Oracle

*Minimum five years experience in the design and building of data models to support business reporting

*Minimum five years experience in relational database design, tuning, and maintenance. Use of Oracle tools such as Explain Plan (or equivalent) to diagnose database performance issues, create reporting index strategies, and improve database designs based on SQL execution.

*Minimum five years experience in gathering of database mapping requirements, creating mapping documents in detail using Excel or modeling tools.

*Extensive data profiling of source data using tools, and creating and maintaining a data dictionary.
