PeopleSoft Developer II

Description:Join one of the “Best Places to Work in the Bay Area.” Robert Half International Inc. (RHI) seeks a PeopleSoft Developer to work at its corporate offices in Pleasanton, CA.
The Developer is responsible for all stages of the design, programming, debugging, and modifications to the PeopleSoft HRMS/HCM with a focus on the Payroll, Benefits Administration, and HR modules. The Developer writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications using current programming language and technologies, and documents procedures for installation and maintenance. This individual works relatively independently and in consultation with the Manager and Technical Lead to define systems design requirements, and to develop and implement complex systems. Duties may include creating and maintaining UNIX and Database scripts, creating and implementing plans for the project, conversion, or testing, and coordinating requirements from the end-user community to subsequently build development proposals or functional specifications, code, and test enhancements.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience:Qualifications:• BS degree and 5+ years of experience in programming computer applications.• 5+ years of PeopleSoft development experience using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQR, Crystal, etc., with a broad and in-depth knowledge in more than one area of PeopleSoft programming tools. High knowledge of Financials and Human Resources systems is preferred.• PeopleSoft Inc. certified training is required.• Experience in UNIX scripting and Database tuning.• Must be capable of delivering high-quality results.• Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, and organizational skills are vital to this role.
