The PeopleSoft Business Applications Specialist will be responsible to provide functional guidance and direction to our internal and external customers of the PeopleSoft Supply Chain, Procurement, Contract, and Purchasing modules. The Applications Specialist will work in a team environment with other PeopleSoft Subject Matter Experts. The right individual will have several years experience with various PeopleSoft Procurement and Purchasing modules, and will be familiar with the business process of contract and supplier relations management. Prior experience with Project Management, Business Analysis, and the full software development life cycle would be beneficial, but not necessary. Skills to be successful in this position include use of the PeopleSoft Tool Set, good customer communications, and the ability to create acceptance test plans, customer training material, and produce clear user documentation.

Writes documentation in a clear and concise manner and presents well-organized informationBroad knowledge of PeopleSoft tools and ability to apply a variety of PeopleSoft techniques, methods, processes, and practices to varied work assignmentsMay possess in-depth knowledge of one or more PeopleSoft products and toolsPeopleSoft Related Technologies: Proficiency in Application Designer, Data Mover, PS Query, Crystal, SQR, Application Engine, Ascential DataStage and PeopleCode; Application Messaging via Integration Broker and Component InterfaceSoftware Life cycle experience: Design, build, test, deployDatabases: Proficiency in Oracle Database Management System (DBMS) experienceOperating Systems: Proficiency in Windows; HP-UX
