We have an immediate opening in our Phoenix, AZ Headquarters for a PLC programmer experienced in Allen Bradley Contrologix, Modicon Concept and/or Bristol Babcock and with strong organizational and time/budget management skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Program Control Systems involving PLC’s, Operator Interface terminals and HMI Software. Set up and run simulation tests to debug programs. Create and update documentation for design, programming and testing of control equipment and programs.Provide detailed documentation upon project completion. Provide user training for automated systems.Analyze system requirements for programming computer and PLC equipment. Specify computer systems to accommodate various control software including HMI, alarming and communication needs. Verify system designed and/or purchased meets defined requirements.Prepare test procedures and test and debug programs. Assist in I/O point checks of PLC and SCADA programs and wiring. Set up and troubleshoot communication networks via wiring and radios, etc. Prepare testing and checkout sheets for factory and site testing. Assist in control panel testing and simulation.Design and implement changes to software and other control systems necessary to provide an accurate and reliable control system. Ensure fixes and/or enhancements are tested successfully. Set up SCADA systems – PC’s, networking, connection to PLC’s, etc. Troubleshoot computer systems and networks.

REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years PLC programming experience, preferably in water/wastewater.Modicon Concept or Wonderware IAS experience required.Multiple-manufacturer experience preferred.Electrical engineering, I&C, and water/wastewater experience preferred.High School Diploma or GED High School Equivalency Diploma required.Associates degree in electronic engineering technology or undergraduate degree in computer science, management information systems, business or equivalent preferred.
