PC Support Technician

Western Growers celebrates more than 80 years of serving the fresh produce industry in California and Arizona. Our association members are the farmers who grow, pack and ship nearly one half of the nation's fresh vegetables, fruits and nuts. We have an immediate opening for a PC Support Technician in our Irvine office. Reporting directly to the Supervisor, Network Plan/ PC Support; the responsibilities will include:

•Computer hardware/software support: configuration, installation and troubleshooting.
•Telephone line installation, migration and troubleshoot.
•Assists with Windows NT, 2000, XP, and Windows applications.
•Troubleshoots and resolves hardware, software, network communication and connectivity problems for users.
•Accepts updates and resolves work orders.
•Tracks all time and updates work orders in help desk system on a daily basis.
•Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, Network Plan/ PC Support.
REQUIREMENTS
Successful candidate will have 2 years experience in networking concepts coupled with excellent customer service skills. Must be familiar with computer network infrastructure requirements, PC standard concepts/procedures, MS Office and other MS products, and experience w/ Windows, specifically NT 4.0, 2000, XP Pro and Active Directory. Must always take initiative to plan and accomplish goals. Superior organizational, multi-tasking, and written/verbal communication skills strongly needed. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and/or with minimal supervision. Have strong problem resolution skills. Ability to lift up to 75-100 lbs and travel occasionally. Networking or A+ Certification and Phone PBX operations a plus!
