PC Maintenance Technician

The Job-
The PC Maintenance Technician will work under direct supervision. He/she may assist junior personnel with technical issues. A limited degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Must comply with all physical, data, and IT security, and health and safety policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of technical tasks, including maintenance, analysis, troubleshooting, and making repairs to computer hardware systems and peripheral equipment.
Resolve PC software configuration problems and may install entire software load or individual software products.
Document user's problems through the use of an online problem management system including opening, updating, document and close problem tickets.
Monitor, problem ticket queue to ensure all assigned tasks are completed within specified metric requirements.
Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge:
Knowledge of' commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field, relies on documented processes and procedures to accomplish task objectives, good written and verbal communication skills to all immediate internal levels of the organization on technical matters.


Education/Experience:
Associate’s degree or equivalent in a related field. A combination of experience and formal technical training may be substituted for formal education and a minimum two years of progressive experience. US Citizenship status required.
