PB MAC Java Developer

Responsibilities: A major financial institution, located in New York City, is seeking a PB MAC Java Developer. The selected candidate will be part of a team of 3-5 Developers with an opportunity to take on the role of Team Lead. One of the key objectives of the team is to have the PB Custody platform support Multi-Asset Class and build an infrastructure that would differentiate our client from the competition. To help achieve this, the selected candidate will be involved with developing electronic trading, capture, processing, and matching engines as well as adapting and customizing them for new asset classes like Credit Default Swaps, Interest Rate Swaps, Repos, and Mortgage and Asset Backed securities. The Developer will be essential in helping the business integrate the new asset classes into our technology officering with a focus on renovating our client link front ends/reporting to support multi asset classes to better service our hedge funds clients. The Developer will have exposure and involvement in all aspects of the development lifecycle, from conception to completion. This includes project management, code development, user interaction, application testing, and project roll-out.
