Oracle Warehouse Management System Specialist

With the recent opening of Imation/ Memorex's new 365,000 square-feet Mega Distribution Center in Southaven, MS, we have a need for a Oracle Warehouse Management System Specialist. The Mega Distribution Center will support U.S. based Consumer Retail and Business to Business operations.

The Oracle Warehouse Management System Specialist must be a superuser that will provide functional and business process experience to help automate and optimize warehouse material handling processes. Responsibilities include leading the Warehouse Management teams of Oracle 11i implementation projects. The Oracle Warehouse Management System Specialist will plan, lead and actively participating in design, configuration and testing of Oracle Warehouse Management System in the Southaven facility. This position requires strong Oracle 11i product knowledge/experience with emphasis in Oracle Warehouse Management. This position also requires practical experience using the Oracle Warehouse Management system in a Warehouse environment.

Core Responsibilities Include:

Evaluate and document current business processes

Define requirements and develop functional specifications for new business processes

Develop and maintain good working relationship with internal business partners

Implement Oracle Warehouse Management System in Southaven Facility

Train end users on the Oracle WMS Application

Self starter, highly motivated, independent

Strong managerial and communication skills required

On-going analytics to identify opportunities to improve efficiencies in the Distribution Center
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

Bachelor’s degree in a business, technical or engineering discipline with 3+ years related professional experience.

Knowledge of project management methodology; requirements gathering process

Highly developed business acumen

Experience in distribution, transportation, and warehouse operations

Good analytical, decision making, presentation, and oral and written communications skills
