- Bachelor's degree, and 4+ years of relevant experience
- Strong people and project management skills
-  Very strong oral and written communication and customer service skills
-  Prior experience in Federal Health and Human Services highly preferred
-  4+ years experience with Oracle versions 9i and 10g required
-  Experience with Oracle version 11i 
DBA resources will be expeted to fulfill the following responsibilities:
 
Function Application Administration resources will be responsible for providing concurrent manager and workflow maintenance as well as DBA support for user profiles, responsibilities, lists of values, rights and access control, and support for cross-functional operations and activities such as disaster recovery planning and training.
 
Nightly Batch Processing.  Batch and transaction scheduling and processing, troubleshooting execution errors, and restarting or recovering the interface process if
execution errors exist.  When errors cannot be resolved, these resources are responsible for logging trouble ticket for Level 2 and/or 3 support.
 
Instance Management Services.  These resources will be responsible for establishing or managing the instance architecture and development paths to the production environment.  These resources will establish the instance management schedule, defining the specific dates and times when instances are synchronized with the production configuration. As part of this synchronization schedule, these resources will be responsible for managing the execution of the pre- and post-synchronization checklists and validating that each instance is set-up appropriately (e.g. masking, responsibilities).  Finally, these resources will work closely with both the development and maintenance teams and the Oracle DBAs to enable the efficient promotion of code between instances.
 
Technical Infrastructure Management Services. These resources will be responsible for the
management of database resources, performance monitoring, and performance tuning including the monitoring of individual job resource consumption and the overall resource efficiency of concurrent manager queues and Oracle background processes including workflow.  In addition, these resources will work closely with the Oracle DBAs to enable the efficient back-up and archive of production and development/test data.Deloitte & Touche USA LLP and its subsidiaries ("the Deloitte US Firms") are equal opportunity employers.Deloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, its member firms and their respective subsidiaries and affiliates.
