Oracle Project Manager
Business Unit: GE Commercial Finance, Capital Solutions
Function: Information Technology
Responsibilities: GE Capital Solutions Financial Systems team requires a technically oriented and experienced project manager within Oracle Financials Software to join the migration project team.
The successful candidate will:
Manage all aspects of Financial Systems implementation project including system analysis, design, development, test, installation and delivery.
Develop business relationships to define and manage project objectives, scope, deliverables, resources and timelines.
Provide project personnel with technical advice, direction and problem resolution.
Manage and coordinate handoff of support for completed projects to the CF Finance Operations team.
Lead a diversified team of GE people and on/off shore GDC resources in the execution of the project plan.
Monitor and report to management on the status of project efforts, anticipating / identifying issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals and implementing corrective actions.
Proficiency in IT methodologies including development life cycle and project management.
Support both individual project goals and CF strategic systems architecture end-state.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * BS / BA degree.
A minimum of 5 years of IT and Business Project management and/or Program Management with formal Project Management Methodology training and accreditation.
Excellent technical, written / verbal communication, interpersonal, problem solving, prioritization, presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to make recommendations to all levels of the organization.
Team player with process capabilities, project management experience and the ability to energize with strong GE values.
Track record of successfully managing technical and functional resources.
Knowledge of Financial Systems and concepts. (GL, AP, AR, FA, etc)
Self directed individual with excellent planning, organization and follow up skills.
Able to manage geographically diverse teams made up of both employees and third party resources.
Proven track record of working with complex system environments.

Desired: * BS degree in Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
Oracle Applications technical / functional experience.
Green Belt / Black Belt Certification
General: * Highly visible Project at both the GE Commercial Finance and individual business level.
