Oracle Portal Developer

Company Brief: Our client is a regional leader in the delivery of a full range of Information Technology (IT) services to commercial and Federal government clients. At this time they seek talented, innovative, and aggressive oracle portal developers, experienced with 10Gas, broaden their approach to web development, and to meet the increasing demand for the portal products by their Mechanicsburg, PA client.

Job Description: Reporting to the Program manager, the Oracle Portal Developer will develop and maintain an Oracle Portal-based platform of products which provides process, procedure, and status on services for an entire activity. You will posses 1 or more years in web development using Oracle Portal Developer 9i/10g R1 environment that uses an Oracle 9i backend. You must have created applications and portlets using JDeveloper, PDK, and PL/SQL generator and must be experienced with OID and familiar with LDAP. Experience with Oracle Application Server 9i, including Oracle HTTP, and Web cache is required and experience or familiarity with J2EE, OC4J, OID, SSO, or SSL is desired as is direct experience in the migration and maintenance of Oracle Databases (10g, 9i) and data modeling. The successful candidate will be proficient in JAVA, PL/SQL, JAVAScript, AJAX and TOAD and you will be familiar with PKI authentication mechanisms for establishing access to the Intranet. Some proficiency in creating user interfaces with Adobe web publishing products and Dreamweaver MX is highly desired. This is a three to nine month assignment to $90 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications: 5 plus years experience plus one or more years in web development using Oracle Portal Developer 9i/10g in accordance with the job description. Degree is desired, but not required. An interim security clearance will be necessary; an existing clearance is highly desirable.
