Candidates selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to
classified information.
 
 Bachelor's degree preferred, and 4+ years of relevant experience
 Strong people and project management skills
 Very strong oral and written communication and customer service skills
Prior experience in Federal Health and Human Services highly preferred
4+ years experience with Oracle versions 9i and 10g required
Experience with Oracle version 11i preferred
 
Functional Application Support Team Members will be responsible for the following:
 
Application Maintenance and Enhancement services resources will be responsible for the definition and development or revision of business and technical requirements (MD-50s and MD-70s) for all work-arounds and changes (including resolutions arising from trouble tickets) to the Oracle application and database (from the perspective of data integrity).  These responsibilities will include the estimation of development and testing hours, design and development of code, conduct of unit and integration
testing and contribution to regression and performance testing of all changes.  These resources will also be responsible for the development, testing and execution of data conversions should the need arise as part of the implementations.
 
Patch and Upgrade Management services resources will be responsible for establishing an annual patch and upgrade schedule, itemizing each known patch set to be issued by Oracle as well as any known upgrades.  The resources will be responsible for researching and evaluating the functional and technical aspects of each patch, developing a synopsis of the business value represented by each patch and an assessment of the risk presented.  These resources will work with the Oracle DBAs to address the interdependencies between scheduled changes and required patches and upgrades to manage the available resource capacity and system availability.
 
Issue Resolution Management resources will be responsible for all aspects of issue resolution including: validation of
priority level; determining impact analysis; identifying root causes; updating issue status in the tracking tool; communicating with end users; following change management procedures when required; validating solutions and fixes with the end user.
 
Help Desk Support resources will be responsible for initially responding to and triaging help desk tickets as they are escalated to Level 3 support.   Resources will ensure that the appropriate priority level has been assigned to the tickets and will initiate the issue resolution process.  Resources will also be responsible for developing post-mortem reports for system outages.  Documentation specialist support will be used to assist in generating weekly reports.
 
Testing resources will be responsible for: maintaining testing suite of tools used for automated testing; maintaining testing scenarios; executing test cases; execute performance tests; work with the business to maintain test data sets; ensure the following test phases are completed:
Unit, Integration.
